Testing has shown the GT3 RS is capable of dashing to 150 MPH and back to a full stop in just 24.4 seconds, a feat only made possible by its Porsche ceramic composite disc brakes. Optional electric Power Steering Plus further contributes to both on-track agility and overall road manners, the latter further aided by a front axle lift system. Porsche’s prototype experience shows its influence in the GT3 RS’ every facet, from its extensive use of carbon fiber (roof, hood, fenders, rear wing, mirror and window trim, interior inlays, adaptive Sport seats) to this example’s optional Weissach Package, which adds 20- and 21-inch forged lightweight magnesium wheels, a lightweight lithium ion battery and more carbon fiber pieces.
